XBOX KINECT - THE NEXT BIG THING

Experienced the Xbox Kinect today----- WOW what technology! Simply awesome.
People believe me, i think with Kinect Microsoft is going to reap great fortunes. Its great fun to play games on Kinect. The kinect has a sensor which tracks your body movement after synchronizing it with the person in the game. This game makes you bend , jump and move, which is why i love it more than any other game type, where you only sitting and not doing anything physically. Here the player actually does physical movements to play the game. This game is good for all ages. The game can be played by 1 to 4 people and is very very entertaining. The graphics are very good and more is to come as this is a new tech. right now there are few games but more will come, i am sure. The pricing is around 23000/ INR. With the kind of technology and the usefulness to all age groups, specially senior citizens, i think its worth it. Go for it guys, coz i am gonna have it soon. Cheers to Xbox Kinect.

Reality Season of Tamasha on Television

As soon as the World Cup and IPL is over, the televisison channels are back with their Reality Shows which seem more like a fixed cricket game. The spectators in all these shows are paid to sit and clap and shout. The family friends of participants are tutored to speak and act before the camera.
The more i see these shows on the television with all the tamasha going on trying to touch the emotional chords of aam janta, i feel cheated and like a fool who ends up watching the shows with my family as they are as emotional as most of us Indians. The result of most Reality shows are always disappointing, the favourite contestant never wins. Its always the most favoured vs the most deserving in these shows. The judges fight or make statement to raise the TRPs, the contestants tell us how they have struggled in life and all of them cry after a good performance or when voted least.
The family of the contestants always have a heart melting story and it is showed in a way that most of us end up having tears. emotions emotions emotions are the key to get votes and through them the producers and the channels run to the bank as they end up earning in crores through all the votes they get through sms's. Sms for the vote is more expensive than the regular sms's we send and their is a revenue sharing model between the mobile co's and the channel partners.
Wow what a way to earn money, create a emotional tamasha, which hardly is true and then bank on the stories of these contestants, ask the judges to fight or create a TRP Moment by throwing tantrums. These moments are then carefully edited to bombard on the audience again and again to create the curiosity to watch that particular episode where so and so judge had a fight with the other judge.
So often the most popular contestant always finds himself in the danger zone and at the brink of being voted out. and then you find them begging at the end of their performance for more votes, and next time voila! they are surprisings safe and topping the table. All thanks to the emotional Indian janta all over the world. India is truly the world champion today in cricket, television and lots of other industry, all because of the shere strength of the Population India has.
My mother is a big fan of all these reality shows and a strong critic as well. She is 72, she is a double graduate, retired Vice Principle and a strong person emotionally, but also a big fan of these shows. Singing show, Talent shows, Relationship shows, Matrimony shows, Comedy shows, Modelling show, Action shows, Food shows,  now what next is remaining ???? do you have any ideas ..... mail me ! ha ha ha ha it will be fun to get some ideas from my friends and readers.
Mr Amitabh Bacchanji is the King of Indian tv and will always remain, next star we all know who is capable of drawing audience to tv is Mr Salman Khan, he gets naughty, stylish and the fun element called Salmanism to the Show is participating in. Once you start loving this man, their is no way you can hate him, he has his unique way of entertaining and that will always remain that way. Salman really has the hw most Wanted Dum in Dabangg style and you will love it just dont be ever Ready as he will keep surprising all of us.
My favorite jodi of judges will be Mr Anu Malik and Ms Farah Khan, not because hey are good in judging but because they are funny and they make you laugh more than all the Nonsense Comedy shows going on on tv. The judges on Comedy shows are paid to laugh and the actors are paid to perform on stupid acts. Other show which is very popular is DID, Dance India Dance, with Mithunda giving it a quality touch ialong with the three judges who keep doing something funny along with the anchors, the show keeps you entertained all throughout, with exceptional dance talent from India. Someone should make a good Dance movie with these kids, anyoe listening????? Mr Romeo are you listening???
In the singing reality shows we have so many judges, to name a few, Mr Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Anu Malik, Adnana Sami, Shreya Ghoshal etc. India is churning out great singers at the rate higher than the population is growing. I wonder where will all of them end up? India has exceptional talent, with great competiton we will be no. 1 soon in everything except SPORTS where we will atleast take another 100 years to be no. 1 in the Olympic Medal List. As a sportsman i really wish we need to have more of Sports Reality shows to develop world champions in different sports other than cricket. We have the talent We have the People We have the resources We have the Space all we need is some Desire and Many Reality Shows for Sports. WHAT SAY ?????????  If you agree with me , leave your reply, thanks , cheers !!!

Government Games

Some time back Anna Hazare started a campaign against Corruption. This campaign became an instant hit with todays youth and the nations harrassed population against corruption and its undeserving politicians. With majority people backing Anna, Anna Hazare was becoming the Gandhi of todays generation. Government on the other hand was finding ways to stop this as it could see the end of its reign in the future. it had to be stopped, by hook or by crook. They tried everything Saam, Daam , Dand and Bhed, i.e by trying to Convince, Bribe, Punish or by Dividing the Anna team. But sadly nothing worked, finally Govt. had to give in and promise the nation and promise Anna about Action against corruption by presenting the Lokpal Bill in the monsoon session. But the fight was not over Anna knew it, and the govt was planning to suppress Anna and his Popularity. Govt. tried to malign the people around Anna by various tactics. They could not attack Anna directly because of people support. So now it seems they have completely foxed the whole nation by getting Baba Ramdev into the picture. This seems like a complete out of the box thinking by some senior leaders in the Govt. They have managed to shift the attention to Baba Ramdev first by granting him permission for the yoga camp, whereas the whole world knew he was in it for fasting, then by arresting him and accusing him of misusing the permission. Anna is dragged unnecessarily in the whole controvercy and is now become one of the crusaders against corruption. The focus from Anna has now shifted to Baba. Has the govt. succeeded in stopping Anna from becoming the next Gandhi and thus has saved its own position?????? I WONDER IF THIS IS TRUE !!!! THINK THINK THINK !!!
